Under
the auspices of the Cheshire Clubs Cricket Committee formed by
the Cheshire County Board to look after Senior Recreational Cricket,
the three main independent Cheshire based leagues, the Cheshire
County Cricket League, the Cheshire Cricket League and the Cheshire
Cricket Alliance, linked together in 2000 to form the Cheshire
Integrated League System, while each body is administered separately
by its own Officers. The 2010 season is the eleventh year in
which the system had been operational. Each season promotion
and relegation has taken place between the nine 1st XI Divisions,
including between the Cheshire County League and the Cheshire
Cricket League and between the Cheshire Cricket League and the
Cheshire Cricket Alliance.
